A Health-Related and Belated New Years Blog Resolution

I used to be a massive believer in new years resolutions and whilst I acknowledge this admirable desire to better oneself, I don’t believe in setting unrealistic (usually diet) based goals every single January. I think we should all focus on self improvement during every month of the year. That’s why my resolution for this year was just to keep endeavouring for happiness.

Anyway, that so was not the point in this post (I’m sorry, it’s quite hard to write this without sharing my view on resolutions). The point in this post was to introduce to you a new sphere of my blog.

Since being away from home, I’ve become quite interested in health and what I should be putting into my body. I’ve also devised some quick workouts that I find easy enough to fit in between my classes. I’ve found that focusing on my physical health has had a really positive aspect on my mental health and this is one of the key reasons why I want to share this lifestyle aspect with you.

My hope for this is mainly for it to be beneficial for readers – but also to inspire me. It can be hard to think of posts when you’ve pigeonholed your content and I’m hoping that by opening up my blog to this realm of my life, that I’ll be able to post more frequently and easily.

So what can you expect from my new travel and lifestyle blog? Well I’m clearly very inconsistent at the best of times, so it’s difficult to say. Most likely a coalition of mini-recipes and various ways I try to keep on top of all my healths (and believe me I do try).

Sorry it was such a quick wee one from me but I’ll be back with hummus tips soon!

As my boyfriend and I pretty much planned our trip around where we wanted to eat & drink (excellent way to go about things fyi), I thought I’d share my top eats in the big capital. Don’t Bite the Hand That Feeds You

I’m sorry it’s been a while but as I’m sure many of you are aware, there’s no wind-down around Christmas for workers in service or retail. During said Christmas period, I’ve encountered all sorts of unpleasantness from customers which have inspired a blog style rant. Continue reading Don’t Bite the Hand That Feeds You

Veganism: Food For Thought

I won’t lie to you, I have been known to laugh at the occasional lettuce joke aimed at pretentious anarchist vegans. That being said, veganism is an admirable lifestyle choice and I think we should talk about it more. Continue reading Veganism: Food For Thought
